Australian Surf Lifesaving National Titles IRB

On Thursday 11 July until Sunday 14 July the Australian Surf Lifesaving National Titles IRB “Inflatable Rescue Boat” will be held at the beautiful Kingscliff delivering a massive 4 days of surf sports action.

Athletes from around Australia will battle it out to in the water to determine who will be crowned the 2019 Australian IRB Champions.

The event period will be from Tuesday 9 July till Monday 15 July with the following key activities occurring:

  1. Bump in for this event will commence on Tuesday 9 July and completed by Thursday 11 July
  2. Competitors will start arriving to Kingscliff for scrutineering on Wednesday 10 July
  3. Competition will commence from Thursday 11 July till Sunday 14 July
  4. Bump Out for this event will commence on Sunday 14 July and be completed by Monday 15 July

The National IRB Championships is an event owned and delivered by Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) with the support of Cudgen Headland SLSC and Tweed Shire Council. It is an event that connects surf sport athletes to the broader SLS community, to help inspire young athletes, stimulate greater surf sport participation and raise the SLSA profile.
