Earlier this year the Northern Rivers was devastated by the worst flood in living memory and Tweed was hit hard.

The Northern Rivers Reconstruction Corporation (NRRC) is a development corporation established to manage the rebuilding of the Northern Rivers Communities, including Tweed, by coordinating planning, rebuilding and construction work across multiple government agencies.
